Kelsey & Matt wanted to their elopement day to be about having a relaxed and enjoyable day together in the mountains. They envisioned their day as flying somewhere remote with a helicopter, visiting an alpine lake, enjoying a picnic, and going for a hike. Which is exactly what they ended up doing.

However, during their planning, they came across some photos of Seceda, and could picture themselves exchanging vows with that iconic backdrop. Not wanted to have a super early start though, exchanging vows at Seceda would have meant also having to deal with the crowds and having no privacy for themselves. After sending them some photos of the reality of what Seceda really looks like (rather than the photos you see on Instagram), they went back to their original vision, and went with our recommendation for a really remote and secluded location accessible with the heli.

After their private vows, we headed to Lago Coldai for a picnic stop, before continuing to our final stop, where we were dropped off at the top of the mountain, and we hiked back down to a rifugio for lunch, then took a taxi home.

We also had an alpaca hike planned at the end of the day, but in typical July fashion, the summer storms forced us to abandon those plans. But Kelsey & Matt weren’t too disappointed. Exhausted from an exciting day, they headed back to the hotel and enjoyed a relaxing spa afternoon before a fantastic dinner in the hotel.
